Software Support Consultant - Bookkeeping

To respond to and resolve customer queries and problems related to products and services contracted for support and maintenance between Legal Interact and the customer.

Key Outputs:

  • Log Support Cases specific to Bookkeeping
  • Troubleshoot/resolving incoming support cases specific to Winlaw and PM Accounts
  • Bookkeeping investigations
  • Call Reduction Initiatives

Qualifications:

Matric is a must, tertiary qualification in IT technology desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in IT support
  • Experience in working in a Bookkeeping environment, preferably in a Legal Firm.

Knowledge Required:

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-management skills
  • Ability to analyse and trouble shoot basic IT Software issues
  • Prior knowledge of Legal Firms Business process knowledge
  • Prior experience and knowledge in Bookkeeping within a legal practice preferably
  • Experience in call centre or IT support
  • Working with deadlines
  • Delivering high quality customer service

Technical Skills:

  • Prior experience in supporting software packages
  • Ability to understand and basic methodology around problem to resolution troubleshooting
  • Some exposure to networks in order to identify possible issues relating to server PC environments
